While the rest of the United States melts away with a record summer heat wave, San Francisco continues to remain in the high 60s/low 70s. Add in the wind and it feels a lot colder. I was hoping that we might get lucky and have a temperature increase to enjoy some outdoor 4th of July activities, but who was I kidding? July is historically one of the coldest months in San Francisco!
Despite the chill, we still managed to enjoy classic 4th of July action. BBQ. Beer. Fireworks. At 9 pm I put on my winter coat (the one I specifically bought for my coldcoldcold work trip to Chicago in February), and we walked up to our roof to enjoy the show with some friends.

It was wonderful.
I hope you all had a lovely 4th of July as well!
Is it just me, or does this Thursday feel off? Having Wednesday off has thrown me for a loop!
